CURRENT 40 Highlights - 01302K8

- Ne-Yo's "Go on Girl" finally takes the top spot from Paramore's "Crushcrushcrush". This is the young RnB singer/songwriter's 3rd solo #1 single and 4th overall in the CURRENT 40 chart (the most among male solo artists). Furthermore, he becomes #1 exactly 2 years since his smashing debut single "So Sick" debuted in the chart at #18.

- In its 2nd week, Sara Bareilles' "Love Song" climbs up 9 places to almost reach the Top 10.

- Follow-up singles from Colbie Caillat and Jordin Sparks both debut in this week's chart, with "Realise" (#32, highest new entry) and "No Air" (#36, her collaboration with a sizzling Chris Brown), respectively. Usher enters the chart with "That Girl Right There" (#38, featuring Ludacris), his first solo single in 3 years.

- Spongecola's "Pasubali" surfaces at the tailend of the chart, bringing the OPM songs in the chart to 8, the highest tally in 6 months. (So far, only Mojofly's "Simula" and Urbandub's "Guillotine" have managed to crack Top 10, let alone Top 20.)
